Most of our apartment listings are located within the medieval wall of Lucca. In every case, the listing will name the city in which it is located.
Apartments are almost always in a condominium building or palazzo with a communal entry hall and a main door to the building, usually with a security intercom.
The number of apartments in a building can vary, but few palazzos in Lucca have more than 6. As the communal areas of a city condominium are limited- generally to the entry, hallway/staircase and the roof- annual condominium fees are kept to a minimum.
Due to the antiquity of the palazzos located in Lucca city centre, few are predisposed to allow for the modern convenience of an elevator. There are a few exceptions, and in those cases the existence of an elevator is noted in the property description.
